Thread: Quick Diesel Question

Anyone got a ballpark figure on costs to repair a duramax head gasket? Dude told me he paid 7k to fix his Chevy. It's about an 05. That's unbelievable. I'm no mechanic by any means but 7k sounds way to ^$$$^

maybe he meant 700

Going to be more than a grand easy with parts and labor.idk forsure . after Checking head/heads,and if other parts are recomended for r&r. posible studs in place of stock bolts.
Ill check on a job we did see what the tottal was on it monday.
