Help!!!!
alright so i bought a vortec 350 for my el camino and today i was looking at where the flywheel/flexplate bolts up. i seen it didnt have a flexplate so i tried to use my old one but its to big ! what do i have to do? can i just by a smaller flexplate off a '86 or up chevy truck or what?? if you can help me or if you need any info about the block here it is- its a '86 or up vortec 350 block number 10054727 , 2 or 4 bolt main , 1 piece real seal , and to top it off it was made in canada. so if anyone can please help me i would greatly apprecite it.

you dont need one of those... just weld some shit up HAHAHA....
sounds like you need a smaller one buddy...I tried to ride the GOAT like i ride sals MOM it couldnt handle it...
2013 will have big things..

You'll need to run the serial numbers to find out exactly what year the engine is.............but yeah you should be able to get a flex plate for a 86-95 if i remeber rightLast edited by Keith @ Smith Auto; 05-02-2010 at 08:20 AM.

Any 86 and up tbi 350 flex plate will work.The diff between the early and latre is the late has a one peace rear main,so they put a counter wieght on the flex plate to make up for the lack of metal on the rear of the crank.
