    can anyone help me on my dsm

    my friend just bought a project dsm an its almost complete with a 6 bolt swap but need to know were all the hoses from the fire wall go an see if there is anything else missing with the wiring harness before we start it up can anyone come look at it or help in any way ?

    If it has the original hood, there should be a diagram on a sticker attached to the underside for smog, this will show you where all the vacuum lines and hoses go. Other then your heater core hoses or a line for the boost gauge, I'm not sure what else would run through the firewall as far as hose or tubing go. Everything else would be electrical and if that's all ghetto then you'll need a wiring diagram and some patience.

    Don't they have Factory Service Manuals in PDF format for these things free for downloading on the interweb? I would start with one of those.

    oh ok well its a 2gen with a 6 bolt swap on it an i read that some dont even need to be plugged in just plugged so they dont leak but im not sure about that thats why i have been asking around an thanks for all the help

    Sal is really busy, he's got custom conversions and my wife's car to finish. He's busy as hell with that, AND has a full time job, which is probably why you haven't heard back from him. If you don't know Sal, I'll tell ya one thing, I wouldn't check it out if I were him, if he "signs off" on it and says "yeah, you're good to roll" and some shit happens, people will point the finger at him saying "you said everything was right". If he did the conversion, etc on it, he'd obviously know what kind of parts he was dealing with, and what kind of work was being done and the only person to be held accountable would be himself. Just my .02.
