Next I am going to paint (I would rather powder coat, but I cant justify the cost right now). I am using paint stripper on the bike to remove all the old paint, I am then going to hit it with a sandblaster to rough it up and get all the stuff I missed. I am going to paint it white, I haven't seen a ct90 in that color and I think it will look sharp with the black accents and the chrome.

I am going to try this stuff out to clean the rest of the chrome.

I got it all painted, here are just a couple pics. I hated that Dupli-color stuff!! Maybe its just my poor rattle can skills but it left everything rough. After the first coat I hit it with some 1000 grit wet-sand and did a second coat with cheepo wal-mart paint. Truth is I think the wal-mart stuff did much better. Next I am going to sand any impurities and hit it all with a clear coat. With any luck ill have it all back together in a week or so

    Greetings, Bucky:
    Excellent results!
Tell me/us more about rebuilding the carb. I have a CT90 that is used only for pasture transportation, but fouls sparkplugs readily. I have the Keyster KH-0081 kit, but can't find instructions or blow-up diagram anywhere.
Before I jump in, is there anything that's not obvious?
Thanks for sharing your progress! Final results?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you guys, its all done and runs like a champ. Regarding the carb I soaked it in gas for a couple days and used a toothbrush to clean the bulk of it. I used caned carb cleaner (get it at autozone or alike) to do the rest. I replaced the gaskets with a kit I bought from e-bay with no troubles. If you are fouling the plugs it may just be a matter of making sure the jets are clean and adjusting the carb. I dont know if that helps, but there is a fantastic forum for trail 90s ct90 : World's biggest Honda CT-90/110 resource good luck and post up some pics!!! as you can tell I like pics

    Beautiful! Better than new!
Thanks for the follow-up with final results and the carb info: your effort, the diagram and the link.

However, mine is not running now, so what's the loss in trying?

Thanks again for the motivation and link.
Wonderful! You have to be proud of that ride!
