Project Orange Crush
1972 Chevy Blazer CST. In the beginning stages of a complete custom build.
Plans:
Cut down the doors so they are flush with the rear.
Full Roll cage.

Fully Convertible with bikini top.
Everything smooth.

Designs for a ladder or step to unfold when your drop the tailgate down for people to enter from the rear. . . Why do you ask?

For the limo style seating in the rear to hold more then the standard 4 passenger 1 driver set up. Shooting for 8-9 if not we're gonna build built-in Ice Chests.
2 power bucket seats from a 97 Tahoe up front. Removing the headrests so they resemble the stock low back style seats with a modern twist.
Custom Center Console
Somewhere in all of this a pounding system.
The Designer asked me "Do you like TV's?"
I said "Fuck yea!"
So I'm predicting at least 5-10 monitors
Custom guages

Going for a Custom Orange paint scheme. Gonna mix it up with some Metallic Silver, and to tie it all up just the right amount of black.
Not to mention the all ready bullet proof 3/4 ton running gear that is going to get a nice little update and some powder-coating.
Gotta have Big wheels for a big blazer. Gonna go with 20's or 22's Depending on the wheel I get.
It has a strong Crate 350 Throttle Body Fuel Injected motor but Thats coming out and so far I've got a Vortec 5.7 Liter to snuggle between the firewall and grill. My reasoning for this is mainly for fuel reasons. Hot fast motors are nice but not for this lifted beast. Might slap a 6.0 I have in there too haven't decided.
Once everything is finalized on the build and done, we're going to go back and try to make a custom fit Fiberglass Hard top from the original top , if it is at all possible. (which anything IS possible!)
Plans to send this one to SEMA '10. . .Hard top or Not.
Since me and my dad have already built a blazer, I'll post pics of it later, we decided that we were going to have The Roadhouse Custom Build this one from the ground up. Looking forward to their ideas and Will be updating whenever I get new shit to post.
Can't wait till She's done =)

Alright alright....So I have some Good news and Some bad news.
Your getting the bad news first.
I have no updated pics <----that's the bad news. And I was thinking I'm not gonna post any till It's completely finished sorry lol
I know, I'm in just suspense as those of your curious of what in the hell it's gonna end up looking like, but I haven't seen it at all! When I do I will give you a verbal explanation of how it's coming.
The Good news!
It will be done around March/Aprilish. No set date at this moment but once everything is purchased and in hand it should be all down hill from there. He needs the top so he can continue working so sometime next week I'll be dropping that off. Another thing that has been kinda hindering the build is moving shops and what not.
I can say that I haven't picked any color's for paint or interior yet but I have a meeting with him tomorrow and hopefully we'll discuss how it's coming along.
After this project is done, me and my dad are already brain storming up a new one. I'm not sure if it will ever take flight but it's an idea, an idea I've never seen before but requires lots of face-lifting so to speak =]
