    Cam On my 05 Silverado???

    So ive been wondering whats the best way to get a little more power out of my 05 silverado i just want a little more balls in it and maybe some meaner soundind exhaust, what do you guys recommend im still ganna run my 22's btw, heres a video of a cammed silverado sounds pretty cool....

    i'm very happy with my spintech mufflers LOUD!!! and a cam would change the sound up, if you want loud go with a low lsa as it will be lopier

    Yeah i noticed on that video that truck sounded cool but i think it was a little louder than i would like but then it had headers too, and i dont plan on getting headers

    Elroy @ The Coffin Muffler makes a hell of a product and offers Cen-Cal members with a nice discount, go and talk with him. Does some of the BEST exhaust work I've ever seen man...

    Cam/tune (Nate @ All-Out) will cost just over a grand but gain BIG numbers, even on a 5.3 (is that what you're rocking?) Headers obviously would be next. Can't go TOO bid if you're trying to keep it legal. I've seen some people with ls1's running 228 cams on a 114LSA pass, but my 6.0 LQ9 with TR224-114 failed idle test. I'm sure it was just tuning but bigger isn't always better, especially in a truck!

    O yeah ok cool ill talk to them when im ready, No i have a 4.8 but they told me its not too much difference
