Thread: headstart suby injector info

The other thread got locked,but some good info for you,you said your 850 injectors are good past 500 whp.just so you know 850s at 90%(to hi duty for me)duty cycle and 55lbs fuel pressure for a turbo app 4 banger on gasoline is only good to about 550 flywheel hp.you never want to run ur injector past 90% as the injector becomes unstable,gets hot and spray patterns turn to crap.now assuming a suby looses 20% threw drivetrain to make 500whp u need about 600fwhp.that being said ur injectors are way maxed out.

This info can be found on rc injector website,its very useful.

Lots of FAST people use their site for injector sizing. I know that's where I will be using for sizing.... ill probably be goin with the hi independance 83s. Lol. Don't wanna run out of fuel!
