a 16g with a 6bolt ect would make a good 300whp with little issues. and FWD. i hope the dodge is up to that. lol

Hell yeah man... that car actually went to the junkyard... was a gross polluter and had crankwalk... Picked up a 97 GSX Roller with trans for pretty cheap, picked up a low mileage 6 bolt, studded and rod bolts, 6 bolt head (stock cams since it's for the wife lol). =) Car I've got now is also red, but in pretty cherry condition with only 65k miles and was female owned and bone stock from what we could tell!

1967 Firebird - 4.8L LS1, 6.0L Heads, LS6 cam, rod bolts, double roller, MPT70 turbo, twin walbro pumps - Shootin for 500+whp! 9" rear, cal-tracs, moly 10pt cage.
06 Duramax ECSB - PPE
6" Pro-Comp Lift, 35's.

ok cool. did you save the 95 ECU? i think you need link to make a full 6bolt work in a 2g. There are a few things you need to do otherwise your going to have running issues. it should be fun though. Cams are one of the later things to do on a 4g63. however i knew a guy that put in 264s and they worked well and you couldn't tell there were cams in there.

It runs, we've got evoscan and a 98 ECM. Transmission had some issues with the pump, had to come back out... ugh. FML. Do you happen to know the specs on the 264s or even who made them? Would be nice to have very little overlap, it is an auto car afterall!

Some DSMer's like the 264-272 combo. In my opinion I just stick to the same cam specs for int and exh. HKS,Web and Delta are some of the companys that make them.
264 Intake
Max Valve Lift - 10.3mm (0.4055")
Centerline at 0mm vavle lift 105 deg
Intake Valve timing at 1mm (0.0394")
Valve opens at 2 deg BTDC
Valve closes at 28 deg ABDC
Valve Centerline 105 deg (WRONG - 103 deg)
264 Exhaust
Max Valve Lift - 9.8mm (0.3858")
Centerline at 0mm vavle lift 117 deg
Exhaust Valve timing at 1mm (0.0394")
Valve opens at 42 deg BBDC
Valve closes at -12 deg ATDC
Valve Centerline 117 deg (CORRECT)
272 Intake
Max Valve Lift - 10.3mm (0.4055")
Centerline at 0mm vavle lift 105 deg
Intake Valve timing at 1mm (0.0394")
Valve opens at 6 deg BTDC
Valve closes at 32 deg ABDC
Valve Centerline 105 deg (WRONG - 103 deg)
272 Exhaust
Max Valve Lift - 9.8mm (0.3858")
Centerline at 0mm vavle lift 111 deg
Exhaust Valve timing at 1mm (0.0394")
Valve opens at 36 deg BBDC
Vavle closes at 2 deg ATDC
Vavle Centerline 111 deg (WRONG - 107 deg)
