Kx500
Just picked up a Kawasaki KX500 fully modded a couple months ago, love the thing. Just took it to the dunes for the second time two weeks ago and ran it on 110 leaded race fuel and MAN this thing hauls ass! It pings under load even after jetting up two full sizes on the main with just 91. Rus a hell of a lot better on race fuel! Would love to set up some desert trips this fall and winter, hell that's why I got a 500! =)

Kx500
Must be a big gut to need a 500 two smoke. Must be slow in the rough and fast as fast can be on the smooth straights. Damn nothing finer then the smell of bean oil in the morning. #01 nothing beats it

Well, I'm 265 and 6'2" so you're absolutely right. I dig climbing jawbone and victor hill (also known as widowmaker) in Mojave, and a 250 flat out doesn't cut it, neither does a 450 unless you're 175lbs or less. I like to cruise at speed across the desert to sip fuel and haul ass when I want to without having to rev it to 12k to do it, ESPECIALLY in the sand (where I blew my kx250 up before I sold it).
I'm a huge fan of castor 927, love the smell of that too, sure beats super m, just messy!

KX500 for ChubbyTony
Hey Chubony been riding the bean burner lately? Damn bikes going to hurt you them 2smoke 500's are man machines. It's time to put on the jogging suit and get in shape you couldn't last more then a lap on the man machine track riding. Maybe you should look into a 950 adventure to haul you around then you could climb anything. Oh wait Chubony wouldn't be able to lift it when he laid it over on widowmaker.
Do you have that Pontiac ready for some testing yet?

Nope, haven't ridden it since the last trip to the dunes. A 500 isn't as fast as one would think really, kx's are real linear like an electric motor so there isn't a hit like on a CR. I'm actually on a diet believe it or not, so thanks for bringing that up.
Been working on the wife's GSX, so the bird is on hold again until it's done (ugh).

Diet ya I can bet on which diet too. See food diet eating anything that's food hombre. One of these days I'm going to watch that Pontiac go down the strip farting, banging and shooting flames. Hopefully you'll get it tuned and get a white ticket faster then 12.00. Until then keep the footpegs off the soil.
