396 in 3rd gen
hey whats up guys.just had a quick question.i have a original 396 with exactly 32,000 miles.im gonna try and fit it in my 3rd gen camaro.just wondering if it is going to be alot of hassle or is it fairly simple to install.dont want to get in over my head.i dont want to cut my frame or fenders up.maybe just a bit.
but is it a hassle.thanks in advance.

most header companys make headers for them.Its a tight fit but they do go in.Ive seen many and done a few.

There's a Blue 84 Maro behind your shop Nathan, that car had a mild 454 in it, its got a 9" and 4.56's in it too. KILLER street car, ask Jim about it the headers are still around the shop somwhere I'm sure...

hey nate you willing to sell some of that stuff if so can you post up a list of what you got for my build and prices.another question whats better performance wise for heads.oval or rectangle port?

The big block will fit, was thinnking about doing this to our 85 camaro. Like said above there are plenty of header companies that make big block swap headers for the 3rd gen camaros.
