    tranny trouble

    i have a '65 c-4 transmission with a shift kit. i changed out the valve body so i can go 1-2-3(Drive). the other day i miss shifted (WOT) and went from 1-2-N. since then Drive runs fine... no problems, just like normal. also WOT shifting from 1-2 is fine and normal, but when WOT trying to shift from 2-3 it wont shift till i take my foot out of it. what could it be?

    -the fluid is full and in good shape

    yup sounds like cable is out of adjustment.We can adjust it if you cant get it figured out.

    do you think it is the linkage even though it does fine with everything else? literally the only problem is going from second to third with my foot to the floor. i almost want to say it feels like a vacuum issue ( hence having to let out of the gas for it to shift to up the vacuum) but since the other gears do fine i dont know. but i will check out the linkage to see how that is.

    o and the other thing is that when i shift from 2-3(D) it will stay in second until i let off. and when i do the shift is instant.
