So I paid for a CompStar crankshaft and should have it soon. Waiting to see what it would cost to get my 853s into shape, if that costs too much I may just get some of the TSP 5.3s or 6.0 heads. May have to step up and get some AFRs but if I do that its gonna be a bit before I can get a 9" rear. The joys of engine building.

Removing some weight to lighten up the front end, took this thing since it doesn't look important. Anyone know what this is? There were some wires going to it so I just soldered them together by color. My car's front end it going to be Uber light Yo!

so you're saying even if I soldered the wires together the car wont work without that box thing? Who woulda thunk it. I was planing on removing the fuse box under the hood and just soldering all those wires too, is that a bad idea? and if it is a bad idea could you rate how bad an idea it is.
