Exclamation Question? 12 bolt on 83 Camaro Z28, Need help!!!

I am looking into swapping a 12 bolt into my 83 camaro. The question I have is which 12 bolt from what vehicle will mount right up and be ok. Lug patterns, width, and bolting right up.
Which vehicles do I need to start looking for and any mods I will need to do???
Also can I use stock torque arm setup?
    Any help would be great.

Go 9", especially if you cant find a bolt in.

I also agree, a 12 bolt with ford ends is nice too, but a 9" is the ultimate in overall reliability and are relatively inexpensive for what you get. The Ford 8.8" is an awesome ass rear end too, might look into that!

    1967 Firebird - 4.8L LS1, 6.0L Heads, LS6 cam, rod bolts, double roller, MPT70 turbo, twin walbro pumps - Shootin for 500+whp! 9" rear, cal-tracs, moly 10pt cage.

You could always hit up pick a part with a tape measure and see whats there. I think 12 bolts are mostly found in trucks and you're going to have to do some modding to just about anything you find out there. I'm sure it can be done though, especially if you have access to a torch and welder.
