dude, I'm so doing this. I ran all over that site; the only requirements to get on track for the driving school are super basic and the only thing I don't have is the helmet which I can totally get by March for the buttonwillow meet. I might need to make some baffles for my car though lol

I will be at several of the buttonwillow events! Hopefully I can get the motor back in and get the car corner balanced by Darin at West End Alignment by March 22nd!

I just did Laguna Seca with them last Monday, it was a blast. They have two more Laguna Seca events before the end of the year and one more event at Buttonwillow.
I have been running with NASA for years and was really getting tired of the crowds and poor sportsmanship in some of the run groups, among other problems in group 3 that I run in I started doing more events with some of the smaller clubs and its a way better day at the track! Guys that run them are more laid back but never unsafe, groups are smaller and five 20 min sessions instead of four. The events are the same price if not cheaper and the people that come to the events are very friendly. I am Vette guy and hung out with other Vette guys all day plus other make and model drivers. No chips on their shoulders, all respected other makes and models and just wanted to have fun.
I think I am doing a one day event again at Laguna Seca at the end of the year, or new years day....
You also do your own Tech on your own car before you come to the track. The only thing they will check at the event is the broomstick test on convert rollbars
