where did you think imports got the huge wing from? guess what it's from domestic 1 word (roadrunner!) did you know that ? 1970 superbird is the first car with the huge shoping cart wing so if you don't like the huge wing on imports like the supra,rx-7,300zx,eclipse,3000gt and skyline blame mopar! imports just copyed them! and the first domestic was a ford and they built 4cyl in the model T ? imports just copyed that too!

Fast is fast no matter what your drving. this feud will never end. i hear this bull about how imports are crap everytime my dad and his buddies are around, but as soon as we get to the track and these "ricers" are keeping up if not beating some of the muscle everyone is quiet. both type of cars are respectable for theyre own reasons. ive built and helped build both types and to me it doesnt what type of car it is as long as it halls ass! i grew up around hot rods and love em but tend to lean more towards the import side because i drive one everyday and like the challege of making these tiny motors go fast. plus i love watching a honda blow the doors off a domestic!

Street racing, is the roots of all racing, if you pan it out.
Imports VS Domestics, is a huge load of crap. They are two seperate types of cars, but they all have the same goal, and they go though alot of the same things to get there.
It all boils down to power to weight.
300hp Honda that tips the scales at 2000 lbs, is going to be fast!!
So Is a 500hp Fbody that craps out at about 3700lbs..
Its all the same. If there is any real difference between the two crowds I would say age group could be one of them. Rice seems to bring a younger crowd, but at the same time, you can buy muscle for the same price as rice, so its a choice deal, not all just age.
Respect, that is for anyone that takes the time to turn a wrench, and make what they have just alittle better than the next guy's

2011 Toyota Tundra TRD~ hauler
2011 Toyota Camry SE V6~ family car
2001 Pontiac Firebird Formula~
2000 Honda CBR929RR~ getaway rocket
2000 Yamaha R6- Stunt runt..
1972 Chevy Nova~ Never ending project.

Well put, jason. I'm tired of hearing about this stupid b.s every time I'm around automotive enthusiest(sp) about import sucks or domestic suck or even Dodge sucks. You can make a freakin metro go fast if you put in enough wrench time and a bigger engine into it. I respect anyone who puts time and effort and enjinouity(sp) into their vehicle to make it different or faster than the other guy or girl.
The people that are so one sided are the sameones who make people lose interest in the car crowds. However the old school racers, gangsters and moonshine runners that had to out run the cops is part of our heritage of racing. Thats why any racing, street or track is so awsome.
