    New guy

    Hi everybody,

Joined last week, nice to have a local site like this! My neighbor betzjr66 turned me on to this site.

I drive a Lotus 7 replica with 302 Ford and t5 trans. Its built from scratch, recently built a 8 stack injection for it using a Megasquirt ECU.

Also building a 63 Nova SS for my wife. Custom front and rear suspension, AC, LT1 with 4l60e, power windows. Hopefully it will be on the road this summer.

This site is just what the community needed!

    Thanks guys,

The Lotus weighs about 1550#'s dry, no driver. I haven't weighed it since I saved some weight with lighter front brakes, aluminum heads, lighter tires and wheels. Before it weighed 1605#'s.

I picked up the low milage LT1, tranny and ecu cheap, out of a 95 Impala SS. I'm no big fan of LT1's, but it will work for now. Its going to be a daily driver built for reliability not power. Wish it was an LS though.

Welcome... I saw a Lotus Super 7 replica with a supercharged Cosworth 4 cyl whoop a Ford GT on a road course and straight line. I could not imagine a healthy V8 in that thing! Nice ride!
